  1. Great pickup, it's hard to pass up some of these energy names with such juicy yields. A 6% yield is awesome. KMI is my largest position so I doubt I'll add any more for a while though but I am still eyeing others in the sector.

    1. Brent - We've owned KMI for over a year now and we've watch it go from the low 30s to low forties and back to low 30s. Meanwhile, dividends we've seen multiple increases to the dividends. The current 6% yield is certainly attractive but I am concerned with the payout ratio.

I don't blame your decision to stay away given that it is already your largest holding.

Thanks for stopping by. Best wishes!! AFFJ

    1. Hope you get an opportunity to grab a few shares to average down your cost. We may continue to add more shares ourselves if the price remain at these levels or lower.

Best wishes and continued success. AFFJ

    1. Thanks Captain. We are happy to be averaging down our cost basis at these levels. Who knows, we both may continue to get opportunities to average down further.

Cheers to a lower cost basis! AFFJ

  4. AFFJ,

Loving KMI and wow has their price really has gone down. I have been thinking of pulling the trigger on more, I'm moreso tossing between how much of them I want allocated in my portfolio, as I also own 2 oil companies (TOT and Shell).

Congrats on the value buy there AFFJ!

    1. Lanny - we've been watching KMI go down roughly 25%, from the low 40s to the low 30s. KMI definitely looks attractive at current price and yield.

Thanks for stopping by and providing us with the feedback. AFFJ
