In January, we set a total of 12 goals for the 2015 Calendar year. We had made goals for our dividend stocks, P2P accounts, Blog, and Financial Milestone. Below is a mid-year progress report to show how we are doing on these 12 goals. The results provided was a snapshot taken as of July 1, 2015. On a side note, where did the first half of the year go? Time flies when your having fun, I guess! :)
With 6-months left in the year, we should technically be half-way, or otherwise at 50% of our goal. Based on these results, it appears that we are doing well and should be on target to accomplish at least 9 of the 12 goals we set for ourselves. It looks like we will have to put a little extra effort if we want to accomplish goals #1, #5, and #12. Of course we hope to be successful in accomplishing all of our goals but honestly, we would be happy to remain on track and accomplish 9 of 12 (75%) or 10 of 12 (83%) of our published goals.
Thanks for following along...stay tuned to see if we continue our current success!

ReplyDeleteThanks Financial Freedom. We hope to keep the pedal to the metal and finish up the year with as many goals accomplished as possible. To help ensure our success, we plan to potentially ease off on one goal to help accomplish another.
DeleteThanks for the vote of confidence. Good Luck with your goals as well! AFFJ
Wow - good job on your goals. I think you will definitely get 12/12 EOY.
ReplyDeleteD4S
Thanks D4S. I do think they are all within reach and I will certainly give it my best shot to accomplish each and every one of my goals. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting. AFFJ
Great job AFFJ! Looks like you're well ahead on several of your goals and should kill it this year. Keep up the good work with your goals. Actually you can probably move some of them higher to push you even further than you expected for the year.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm working on helping you out with the stock analyses. Hoping to get 2 more out this weekend/early next week.
Thanks for the encouraging words JC. And I agree, if I end up reaching my goals I shouldn't stop if I don't have to. Honestly, I'm just concerned with the ones that require capital. I guess I better push harder on a side hustle and not let that be an excuse for failure. Thanks for the suggestion.
DeleteI will be on the look out for your two upcoming stock analyses and will most certainly add them to our collection. Enjoy your weekend bud. AFFJ
Great job on the progress, AFFJ. You are well our way to conquer your goals for the year! Keep up the great work
ReplyDeleteR2R
Thanks R2R. I hope to accomplish most if not all of them. I made sure that the goals I had set our were realistic and measurable so we'll see in 6-months. Stay tuned!

AFFJ,
ReplyDeleteTalk about goal setting and goal crushing. It appears to me that you are WELL on your way to your goals, and the only difficult one would be your declining mortgage balance, as 12K+ is a big feat for sure. I like your dividend goals, of course - call me biased, right? Thanks for keeping us posted and good luck!
-Lanny
Lanny - thanks for the word of encouragement. I know $12K will be difficult but I will give it my best. On the bright side, a little over $1,700 of our standard mortgage payment currently goes to our principal. Nevertheless, to meet our goal, we'll need to send in a little more than an extra payment. I think we can do it but just now sure it is so wise to do so given our interest rate.
DeleteWe still need to continue to put our capital to work in order to meet our dividends goal but seeing the forward dividend number grow is dedinitely a great sight to see!
Cheers to accomplishing as many goals as possible! AFFJ
